Description
Selling my Porsche 924.
It is completely original / standard.
Undoubtedly a classic car, it is well known to be the model that 'saved' Porsche from folding back in the 80's.
Bought it as a project earlier this year but now selling due to a change in circumstances. The previous owner owned it for over 15 years.
2.0 manual, not expensive to run and insurance is pennies through classic car insurance
Alloys were recently refurbished and a new fuel pump fitted. Only done 109,100 miles for a 35 year old car.
Good spec; Set of 5 alloys with very good tyres, electric windows etc. pop up lights work fine as seen in picture.
Body work is good for the age in my opinion, it does have some scratches etc but rust wise i would say it is good considering its 35 years old.
Interior is also in good condition for age, but the seats have wear.
It started and ran when I bought it but after sitting for a couple of months the battery went flat. I put another battery in it and now when the key is turned, the lights come on in the dash but the starter does not crank when the key is turned. So it is currently a non-runner. I've been told that it will likely be either a fuse/rely, bad earth or the starter motor so should be an easy / cheap fix.
It is solid underneath with no structural rot, the previous owner undersealed it to prevent rust.
Excellent and easy project as its just minor work needed.
I have a bag of spare bits to go with the car.
Im looking for £800, quite rare cars now and they will only go up in value.
Welcome to come have a good look.
Will need to be towed or trailered away.
