Newly upholstered retro armchair; statement piece!

This is a very comfortable, funky modern arm chair and will certainly make a statement in any living room!
The chair has been completely re-upholstered; I stripped it right back to the frame and built it back up again with new foam and polyester wadding. I re-used the foam for the back cushion and seat cushion as they were still in good condition, but added an extra layer of polyester wadding. I then covered the chair in a funky, retro-style fabric, and complemented this with a silver coloured fabric on the outside arms and back. Both fabrics are fire-retardant.
There are nice details on the chair, such as the piping round the back and the arms, and the buttons on the back cushion.
I painted the Queen Anne style legs in a lovely dark grey colour with a satin finish and a clear gloss protection.
The chair now looks completely different and worthy of a prominent place in someone's living room!
