Omschrijving
For sale is a 2005 55 plate Honda Jazz in black. The car has been in the family since new. It was bought new by my mother in law and my wife and I bought it from her over a year ago.
The car has a full service history and has been serviced and mot'd every year by a local garage. The car was serviced and mot'd under a fortnight ago with new front brake pads fitted. The mot expires on 28/09/17. Cost of this work £300.
The middle and rear sections of the exhaust were replaced last week at a cost of £260.
The rear brake discs and pads were replaced last year. The battery has also been replaced recently with a Honda battery.
I don't cut corners on any part of car ownership and know the importance of good tyres. The car is fitted with 4 Michelin energy saver tyres. Approximately 6mm of tread on front tyres and 6.5mm tread on rear tyres. All wearing evenly.
I also have a spare set of steel wheels with Falken winter tyres fitted. These have approximately 5mm of tread. I'm open to negotiations for these.
All Honda recall work has been done and the gearbox bearings were replaced just before it was 8 years old. This was a common fault for this model but thankfully fixed at Hondas expense.
The car drives exactly as it always has done. Due to its age there are a few marks on the interior and exterior. My mother in law managed to make minor contact with some inanimate objects resulting in minor damage to the bumpers as per the photographs. There are a few marks on the paintwork with general wear and tear. There are a couple of small spots of rust on the rear offside C pillar and a small bit on the boot lid.
The emissions light is on on the dashboard. This has been on since my mother in law first got an exhaust repair a while back. There is no fault. I think this is due to a non Honda part. The mechanic has managed to get the light out but it tends to come back on after a day or so. I've never bothered with it as there isn't an issue.
There is sometimes a small amount of water in the spare wheel well. I believe this is a common fault. It's not a big issue and I haven't got around to fixing it myself.
The drivers door lock barrel started to play up a year or so ago. We had central locking via key fob installed to fix this.
I have described the car as accurately as I can. It has never let us down and after spending £560 on it it probably isn't a great time to sell it but my wife has decided on a new car so that's that!
It's a very practical little car and should provide trouble free motoring for the next year at a minimum. Similar cars on autotrader sell for at least £1,500.
Feel free to ask any questions. Any inspection welcome.
No time wasters please.
