4 x (VAG) - VW, Audi, Skoda, SEAT, 12mm Hubcentric wheel spacers 5 x 100 / 5 x 112 PCD with 20 extended wheel bolts
Hello,
The clear-out of my shed continues.............
I have found these wheel-spacers with extended wheel bolts.
A couple of years ago, I bought 4 alloys with winter tyres for my previous SEAT car. The new alloys had a slightly different off-set from the original wheels and so I bought these spacers and extended bolts.
From recollection, the difference in the offset of the new wheels was 10mm, however the 12mm provided by the spacers, covered the shortfall, perfectly. This allowed 'track' of my car to return to virtually normal.
They are individually machined from a solid block of aluminium, thus making them stronger. They are not 'cast', like some of the cheaper spacers out there.
Also, unlike older designs, they have integral collars.
Just slide the protruding collar into the back of the wheel and the spacer will stay in place with friction. Offer-up the wheel to your vehicle and the inner recess of the spacer will snugly fit the vehicle hub. Then, just pop your extended bolts into place and the wheel is perfectly centralised!
You will note from the pictures that their design and hole structure allows them to be used for both 112 and 100 PCD, (pitch circle diameter). Their inner and outer bore is 57.1 mm and can be used for 5 wheel bolt applications.
Of course, if fitting these spacers, you will need longer bolts..........hence the included wheel bolts. I have included a close-up of one of the twenty included bolts. You will note that the threaded shaft is approx 40 mm long.
They have been used for just two winters and despite an odd splash of copper grease, are in perfect condition.
I paid nearly £120 for them. They must surely be worth £69 ovno.
I am based in Speyside and may be able to meet / assist with delivery as I frequent Inverness, Nairn, Forres, Elgin and Aviemore areas.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Jimmy
